Please note that existing devices (DS2A, DS2P, Eco4, BX2) can be ugraded to provide partial NetVu ObserVer support.

Now a new generation of the DS2 is available that retains the features that have made the product so popular but adds significant improvements in local and networking functionality

Flexible one box solution
The new DS2 now combines Transmission with Telemetry Control and Recording into one platform so there is no need for additional hardware when integrating a comprehensive CCTV solution. Furthermore, on-site operations have been enhanced with features such as DVD archiving and Duoview whilst maintaining the DS2’s familiar user interface.

Feature packed
With features such as simultaneous MPEG-4 transmission and JPEG recording, spot monitor alarm switching, and improved activity detection adding to its already comprehensive feature list (such as its GOTO and Event Recall search tools), its palette of essential tools for both the local and remote operator are hard to beat.

Need more than the new Digital Sprite 2?
The New Digital Sprite 2 has been designed to meet the requirements of the majority of professional DVR applications, but for systems requiring a large scale distributed network or one that only requires remote monitoring the DV-IP Server may be a more appropriate alternative. Similarly if you are looking for significant storage capacity in one product the BX2 Continuous Archive may be what you are looking for.

DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDERS - BX2

BX2 provides the performance and storage capacity to meet the needs of large, fast-moving applications in retail, finance and government.

100 pictures per second (100PPS PAL/ 120PPS NTSC) record rate enables full 24-hour time-lapse record rates possible on all of its 16 video camera inputs. This makes BX2 equivalent to installing a time-lapse VCR for every camera.

1.2TB of internal storage complements the record performance, providing 4 months recording at default settings.
 

The BX2 CA model boasts all the versatlity and power of the BX2 plus a unique industry feature of 'hot-swappable' mirrored drives. In essence this provides endless and uninterrupted digital recording.

Standard units contain 4 hard drives providing RAID 1 fault tolerance for up to 1TB of mirrored data. All hard disk recording has a digital signature applied for evidential purposes which is accessible via a one touch button or GOTO and event preview facility. Data from short incidents can easily be transferred by an internal DVD writer for PC playback. For major incidents or for external auditing, an entire disk set from BX2 CA can be removed for PC playback using the optional USB CA Viewer, without effecting recording or local review of evidence.

BX2 CA provides the ideal solution for fast moving, evidential reliant environments and is fully integrable with all DM as well as many other industry systems.
